Union St Gilloise welcome Anderlecht to Duden Park on Sunday in what is set to be the most important Brussels derby in recent years. After a terrible start to the play-offs, Union are back in the title race after back to back wins over defending champions Antwerp. They are just a point behind Anderlecht and could potentially go top with a win. In the reverse fixture, it was Anderlecht who won 2-1 at home despite playing most of the second half with 10 men.

Anderlecht are going into the game with a few injury concerns. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel could miss the game as well as the sides top scorer Anders Dreyer. The Danish winger, formerly of Brighton, has scored 20 goals and provided nine assists in 35 games this season.

Union’s star player this season has begun to rediscover his form in the play-offs. Swiss midfielder Cameron Puertas grabbed his sixth goal of the post-season with a brace against Antwerp in the sides 4-1 win last time out. So far this season he has 14 goals and 19 assists and has arguably been the best player in the Pro League.

The game will kick-off a few hours after the Antwerp v Club Brugge clash at the Bosiulstadion. A win for the away side would see them go top ahead of the Brussels derby.
