2022 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Andre Blake made five saves in his 16th clean sheet of the season as the top-seeded Union now await the winner of Montreal and NYCFC.

The game’s only goal came from an unlikely source as 21-year-old Leon Flach scored just his second-ever goal for the Union in his 72nd match for the team, hitting a first-time effort into the top corner of the net.

Despite being the highest-scoring team in the league, Philadelphia were forced to fight all game and were fortunate to come out winners as Cincinnati had several opportunities throughout the match.

However, Blake proved why he was named the best shot-stopper in the league, making one spectacular save after another to ensure Philly’s progress.

The Eastern Conference final will be held in Philadelphia on Sunday, October 30th.
