Union Berlin confirm signing of Josip Juranović from Celtic

Union Berlin have confirmed the signing of Croatian full-back Josip Juranović from Scottish champions Celtic.

The 27-year-old impressed at the World Cup, playing all six matches for Croatia and picking up an assist along the way.

The fee for Juranović could rise to £10m after bonuses, with an initial £7.5m being paid for his services.

The capital club will be hopeful that the Croatian can give them a boost in their efforts to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in club history.

He leaves the Hoops after making 53 appearances in all competitions, winning the Scottish Premiership and League Cup last season.
