Arsenal are advancing on conversations over personal terms for Noni Madueke according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners are interested in the England international, and it’s believed Madueke is open to making the switch to north London.
Chelsea are thought to have set their asking price at £50m for Madueke, but the Gunners are yet to any offers for the winger.
Chelsea have already made three attacking signings this summer in Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens, and haven’t ruled out adding another, although it’s likely one of the current crop will need to leave.
At this stage it appears Madueke could be the most likely candidate, and the winger put in a good performance as a second half substitute against Palmeiras.

Enzo Maresca said he only wants players who are happy to be at Chelsea when questioned about the future of Madueke, and Romano has now provided another update on the situation.
He took to X.com and said:
“Understand Arsenal have now started advancing on personal terms discussions with Noni Madueke.
“Madueke hasn’t asked to leave Chelsea at this stage, focused on Club World Cup; meanwhile he’s understood to be open to Arsenal move. Nothing agreed/close between clubs yet.”
Madueke made 32 Premier League appearances last season, scoring seven goals and registering four assists, and is under contract until 2030 at Stamford Bridge.
The possible departure of Madueke could lead to the arrival of Mohammed Kudus with Chelsea interested in the Ghana international.
Kudus is set to leave West Ham this summer, and it’s thought offers of around £60m could be accepted by the Hammers.

Tottenham are also interested in the former Ajax star, whilst Maresca refused to be drawn on speculation when asked about Kudus.
Chelsea had the chance to sign Kudus in the summer of 2023 whilst he was at Ajax, but it seems that interest has remained, and it will be interesting to see what Chelsea decide to do.
