Chelsea hosted Norwich City at Stamford Bridge for their ninth Premier League game of the season, and came out with a thumping 7-0 victory, with both their strikers Lukaku and Werner out injured. The win took the Blues to the top of the league with 22 points and it was the academy boys at Chelsea to the rescue upfront, as Mason Mount got a hattrick, Ben Chilwell scored for his third consecutive league game, Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi also found the net, with Max Aarons’ own goal completing the seven goals for the blues. Here, in this post, we will look at the attacking stats of the Chelsea side, as they have been getting goals from all different players, 14 so far in the league and 17 in all competitions.

The reigning European Champions won the 2021-22 UEFA Champions League with a squad that was lacking a proper out and out no. 9. They had Timo Werner, who plays more like an inside left. They went on and signed Romelu Lykaku as the final missing piece of the puzzle. He was signed for 100 million euros from Internazionale and started firing straight after arriving. The Blues look like a strong and cohesive group and are one of the three left title contenders and favourites at the moment along with Liverpool and Manchester City.
