Chiesurin (and an own goal) in the 2-2 draw at Atalanta. Benedetti and Mangiameli against Torino, securing the 2-1 victory. Lanotte for the 1-0 win against Cagliari. Five different goalscorers for five goals that are worth, so far, a share of the top of the table.
It's a start to the season with a strong sense of collective value for Christian Terni's Under 18 team: the Rossoneri got off to a strong start in a season with a strongly renewed structure - first and second in both groups will go through to the Final Four Scudetto - collecting 7 points in 3 games, good enough for the lead in Group B together with Hellas Verona.
Important results also from the plethora of goal scorers, including that of Mangiameli who was a key player last weekend in the Primavera's success in Bologna. For what is often a transitional group, as some of the 17-year-olds play under-age with the U19s, proving themselves worthy of appearances is an important thing.
Onwards and upwards for Coach Terni's young Rossoneri, now awaiting a difficult away match: in fact, AC Milan will be hosted by SPAL, winner of their two matches played so far (3-2 in Monza and 4-3 in Turin) and the only team of Group B to have an unbeaten season. A further test, for the Rossoneri, to continue the good start to the season and to keep showing themselves for a possible chance in the higher division.
