Arsenal don’t have an agreement to let Hector Bellerin go yet, but Unai Emery is a huge admirer and Villarreal are looking at a deal for him.

James Benge reports that there’s still no agreement with any interested parties to sign Hector Bellerin just yet. Villarreal, Atletico Madrid, and Sevilla are among the teams looking at a deal for him at the moment.

Benge adds that Villarreal’s Unai Emery is a huge admirer of the player, having tried to sign him at Paris Saint-Germain and obviously coaching him with Arsenal. The Gunners are still looking for £20m.

On a related note, Atletico Madrid are only in the mix if they sell Kieran Trippier, and the latest reports are that they’ll demand almost £43m to let him go to Manchester United – who are interested. That would give them plenty of money for Bellerin.

Earlier this week, reports suggested Bellerin’s agent recently travelled to Villarreal’s training headquarters to meet with club officials, as part of a tour of interested Spanish clubs. It seems multiple options are still very much on the table right now.

Bellerin made 35 appearances for Arsenal this season, but it’s been clear for a couple of months that he’s on the way out this summer.
