Uli Hoeneß hopes for Leroy Sané at Bayern Munich

Speaking to BR Radio prior to Bayern Munich’s 5-0 win against Fortuna Düsseldorf, former Bayern president Uli Hoeneß discussed Manchester City attacker Leroy Sané.

“I believe we’re on the brink of a new and great generation. With Joshua Kimmich, Niklas Süle and hopefully David Alaba, Thiago and also Leroy Sané, we have a young and viable team. If everything goes well, Bayern is just starting a new era.”

Thiago is expected to sign a new Bayern Munich contract after discussions with his family as to whether they would like to remain in Munich whilst Bayern Munich believe they can sign Sané this summer.
