Ukraine manager Shevchenko hails work of Arsenal utility Zinchenko

Ukraine national team manager Andriy Shevchenko has praised Oleksandr Zinchenko for his continued support of his homeland during the Russian invasion.

The Arsenal utility has been working tirelessly to raise awareness and funds to help people in his native Ukraine.

"Oleks has stood up, he has spoken out and expressed his very hard views against the war," Shevchenko said. "He loves Ukraine and the people, and we have done a lot of activities together.

"We have been involved in fundrasing activities. Oleks is very generous, and he gives a lot to the Ukrainian people.

"Nearly three million children from Ukraine have been forced to flee their homes in the past five months as a result of the conflict."
