Matteo Guendouzi has been afforded a rest as Lazio visit the Netherlands to take on FC Twente in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The Biancocelesti are looking to build on a perfect start in the competition. Marco Baroni’s have six points from two games and are in third place in the standings, having only been knocked off the top spot by Galatasaray and Bodo/Glimt, who have both played one game more.
Baroni confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Guendouzi will be given a rest, which means that Fisayo Dele-Bashiru could drop back into a slightly deeper midfield role than the one he has played recently.
Pedro, who joined BAroni for his press-conference, will also start, and Sky Sport Italia suggest that he could be played through the middle with Mattia Zaccagni and Loum Tchaouna out on the wings.
Kick-off between Twente and Lazio is due at 20.00 BST.
Twente (4-2-3-1): Unnerstall; Van Rooij, Hilgers, Bruns, Salah-Eddine; Vlap, Regeer; Van Wolfswinkel, Steijn, Van Bergen; Lammers.
Lazio (4-2-3-1): Mandas; Marusic, Gigot, Romagnoli, Pellegrini; Vecino, Dele-Bashiru; Tchaouna, Pedro, Zaccagni; Dia.
