UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin reaffirmed once again his positive outlook on the first edition of the Conference League.
Ceferin underlined the quality of the display in Tirana on May 25th in a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Some ‘geniuses’ were telling everyone, ‘this competition is useless!”
“Then, all of a sudden, when they saw that Roma-Feyenoord was a final on par with the Europa League one, the same ‘geniuses’ started complaining about the stadium’s size.”
“But then,” he concluded. “A real genius like Mourinho sounded so moved when I spoke to him after Roma won the Conference League.”
