Netherlands let slip a two-goal advantage against Portugal before emerging 3-2 winners in UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 Group C.
Portugal’s Ana Borges had a goal ruled out for offside, before Damaris Egurrola gave the Dutch an early lead with a header from Sherida Spitse’s corner.
A second followed inside the 20-minute mark, Stephanie van de Graagt nodding in with bravery following another flag-kick.
Carole Costa got Portugal back in it by the break, converting a penalty given after a pitch-side VAR check on Dominique Jansen’s challenge on Diana Silva.

Daphne van Domselaar made a great save with a tip over but from Costa’s cross Diana Silva headed Portugal back on level terms two minutes into the second half.
Jill Roord thought she had restored the lead but was denied this due to an offside decision, before Danielle van de Donk rifled the ball into the roof of the net from 20 yards for a 62nd-minute decider.
Netherlands and Sweden both have four points going into the last group games with Switzerland and Portugal respectively, who both have one.
