Group C: Lyon 4-0 FC Zurich, Arsenal 1-0 Juventus

Arsenal went three points clear at the top of the table, following their victory in front of nearly 7,000 at the Emirates. Stina Blackstenius had already had a goal ruled out for offside, before delivering for Miedema to bury a half-volley on 16 minutes.

Lyon went second with a 4-0 victory over Zurich, who now can no longer progress. Lindsey Horan’s opener was added to by two Melvine Malard headers in the last quarter of the match, with Delphine Cascarino completing the scoring.

Group D: Rosengard 1-3 Benfica, Bayern Munich 3-1 Barcelona

Two early goals by Bayern Munich led to a fine 3-1 beating of Barcelona, who now only lead the group on goal-difference. Klara Bühl and Lina Magull both struck in the first 10 minutes, Lea Schüller got Bayern’s third on the hour mark, with Geyse pulling one back shortly after.

Benfica are three points behind the top two, having come from behind to win 3-1 at Rosengard. Olivia Schough opened the scoring after half an hour but the hosts were on their way out ten minutes later due to Cloe Lacasse’s quick brace. Nycole Raysla sealed the points two minutes into the second half.
