UEFA have revealed the contenders for hosting the Women’s EUROs in 2029.
Five expressions of interest were submitted to the governing body ahead of Thursday’s announcement with Germany, Portugal, Poland and Italy in the running.
There is also the possibility of a joint bid from Denmark and Sweden winning the hosting rights, which will be decided by UEFA’s executive committee in December 2025.
Poland previously sought to host the 2025 EUROs, which were awarded to Switzerland, while the Scandinavian nations were also joined in their unsuccessful bid by Finland and Norway.
Next summer’s tournament is expected to see around 150,000 football fans flocking to see leading figures in the women’s game as England defend their crown from 2022.
