Uefa have confirmed that Tottenham’s Europa Conference League clash against Rennes on Thursday has been postponed.

Spurs have been battling an unpredictable coronavirus outbreak at the club, with up to 13 players and staff already testing positive this week.

But after the north London club initially announced the game will not be taking place, both Rennes and Uefa responded insisting that no official decision was taken.

However, the governing body have officially cancelled the fixture and will look to rearrange for a later date.

“We can confirm that the match Tottenham-Rennes will not take place tonight,” read an official statement. “Further info will follow in due course.”

It remains unclear whether Spurs will have enough players to face Brighton in the Premier League on Sunday.
