Udinese reject Leeds United’s bid for Jaka Bijol | OneFootball

Serie A side Udinese have seen their defender Jaka Bijol get linked with a move to Leeds United in the last few days.

There was speculation that initial contact has been made and this was also confirmed by Messaggero Veneto in their report yesterday.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Leeds have come forward for the centre-back and made an offer for him. That approach has been rejected by the Friulians quite promptly.

Hope is not over for Leeds though, as both the clubs will be in contact in the next few hours as they look to come closer to reaching an agreement for the defender.

Bijol has also been linked with a host of clubs across Italy and Inter have been a fan of his profile. But everything now points at the fact that Leeds United will make more in-roads in an attempt to land the Slovenian in the summer.
