Whites host the Cottagers at the LNER Stadium.
Leeds United Under-21s return to Premier League 2 action on Friday as they welcome Fulham Under-21s to the LNER Community Stadium, with kick off coming at 7pm.
Scott Gardner’s side will be looking to bounce back from a narrow defeat at home to Norwich last time out, where the young Whites fell to a 2-0 loss despite putting in a strong performance against the Canaries.
United do have games in hand on the sides around them as they look to finish the campaign strongly, and know a win over the London outfit could see them leapfrog Manchester City and Leicester City in the PL2 standings.
Under the guidance of former Watford caretaker boss Hayden Mullins, third-placed Fulham have enjoyed a strong season to date, sitting just four points behind leaders Tottenham.
Last time out, the Cottagers claimed the bragging rights as they beat London rivals West Ham United 3-0 away from home, thanks to goals from Adrion Pajaziti, Matt Dibley-Dias and Samuel Amissah.
Pajaziti comes into the game in fine form, after also grabbing a hattrick in the 7-1 demolition of the Reading at the start of the month.
The London-born midfielder, who has represented both Albania and Kosovo at youth international level, now has five goals in 10 matches in the PL2 and made his first-team debut in the 2021/22 Carabao Cup.
The two sides last met at U21 level in 2021, when Fulham's Connor McAvoy cancelled out Sam Greenwood's early goal for the Whites to earn his side a draw. United would go on to win the division that season, whilst Fulham finished 10th in the standings.
