Aston Villa expect Tyrone Mings to miss at least the next three weeks, which would rule him out for the rest of 2019.

Mings was taken off in the 23rd minute of Villa’s 4-1 loss against Leicester City over the weekend with a hamstring injury.

With this timeline, the England international would miss their upcoming matches against Sheffield United, Southampton, Norwich and Watford in addition to the EFL Cup quarter-final against Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Birmingham Live claim that goalkeeper Lovre Kalinić will be on his way out of Villa in January in order to return to Hadjuk Split just 12 months after his arrival.

The report says that the 29-year-old would slash his wages up to 50% in order to return to his home country and compete for a place on Croatia’s Euro 2020 team.
