Tyrell Malacia is a Dutch left-back who plays for the Netherlands national team and now, Manchester United after he sealed a move from Feyenoord earlier this summer. The 23-year-old has made a good start to life at Old Trafford as he has already managed to break into Erik ten Hag’s first team recently. Early Life

Malacia joined the youth ranks of Feyenoord Rotterdam at the tender age of nine and has since, come through their youth system before making a mark as a first-team starter back in December 2017. He won the KNVB Cup with Feyenoord a year later and was even named the UEFA Europa Conference League team of the season recently after earning a silver medal in the competition.

Malacia ended his Feyenoord career with four goals and ten assists in 136 matches to his name. The Dutch talent decided to seal a move to Man United earlier this summer and has since, not looked back as he has successfully made himself a regular starter at the Theatre of Dreams.

The ex-Eredivise youngster has caught the eye by averaging 3.0 tackles, 1.0 interceptions, 1.8 clearances and 0.5 crosses per game in the Premier League this season. He has even been accurate with his ball distribution as evidenced by his pass success rate of 86.6% in the top tier of English football (stats via whoscored).

Salary And Endorsements

At the moment, Malacia is making £75,000 per week in wages at Manchester United which could see him earn $4.25m annually as per his new contract at Old Trafford.

His current net worth is estimated to be around $1.5m following his rise to stardom at Manchester. Malacia’s lucrative deal is set to expire in the summer of 2026 with the Mancunian club also having the option to extend it for another season.
