It’s only mid-June, and we may have just seen the miss of the summer tournaments.
Somehow, some way, Spain striker Abel Ruiz missed a huge opportunity to put his side up by a goal before half-time.

After a glorious cross from Real Betis midfielder Rodri, Ruiz looked nailed on to put Spain ahead with what would have been one of the easiest tap-ins of his young career.
But it was not to be, as the SC Braga man sent his shot wide of the post after it flicked off his heel.
Fortunately, the howler didn’t return to bite Spain after they finally found their footing in the second half with two goals in seven minutes.
