TeamTalk are this evening reporting that Chelsea left back Ian Maatsen could leave the club this January after barely featuring so far for Mauricio Pochettino.

The left back stayed in August put despite deadline day interest from Burnley, where he spent last season on a successful loan.

But since then he’s barely made it onto the pitch, and clearly both Chelsea and the Dutchman think leaving is the best move. The Blues can expect to get a good price thanks to last year’s successes and an impressive role in preseason, while Maatsen will hope to have better options than Burnley on the table.
