Two incoming additions to the behind-the-scenes setup at La Liga giants Barcelona were this week spotted in attendance at the club’s training complex for the first time.

The pair in question? Julio Tous, and Raúl Martínez.

Word surrounding the impending arrivals of both Tous and Martínez at Barcelona was first forthcoming last week.

Fresh off the announcement regarding Xavi’s decision to stay put for another season, it was revealed that the Spaniard’s staff was in line to be added to, by way of two fresh faces.

Though Xavi shut down any and all calls for dismissals from his team as part of his fresh agreement with the club, the former midfielder did green light a pair of incomings.

Tous, for his part, is a widely-renowned conditioning specialist, with Martínez an expert physiotherapist.

And though it was previously reported that the pair would not arrive until the summer, both were in fact present at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this week.
