German clubs Borussia Monchengladbach and Hoffenheim are interested in signing Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

Fosu-Mensah broke out in the first team under Louis Van Gaal and was sent to Crystal Palace and Fulham on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer started him over Diogo Dalot against Crystal Palace in a 1-3 loss.

However, Fosu-Mensah is nowhere near his full potential which was predicted five years ago. The Dutch international looked lively defensing, attacking, making runs and creating in Premier League’s opener and more seems to come out of him.

However, his contract expires next summer. As per The Athletic, both Dalot and Fosu-Mensah have been put on the transfer list. Laurie Whitewell claims that Fosu-Mensah ‘could be on the move if an appropriate bid comes in.’

Germany is slowly becoming a ideal destination for young talents to grow themselves. Another academy graduate Tahith Chong recently made a loan move to Werder Bremen in search of that.

United should look to sell Fosu-Mensah soon if Ole doesn’t want him in his plans as he will be available to negotiate deals personally in January.
