Two Barcelona stars have started every one of the club’s matches this season | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has made clear his faith in the talents of two leading members of his squad across the season to date.

This comes by way of his usage of the pair in question.

Barcelona have now taken to the pitch on nine occasions thus far this term, rattling off seven victories and two defeats in all competitions.

Across these fixtures, boss Flick has stuck largely with the same core of players.

This past weekend, however, for the first time, the German tactician was forced to rotate heavily, leaving the likes of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Iñigo Martínez on the bench for an eventual La Liga defeat at the hands of Osasuna.

Two others to have maintained their respective places in the Blaugrana’s XI, though, came in the form of defender Jules Koundé, and frontman Robert Lewandowski.

And, as a result, the pair now stand as the only two players in Barca’s ranks to have started in every one of the club’s nine fixtures in 2024/25.
