Tuttosport: No shortcuts as Ibrahimovic gears up with great intensity for Milan-Juve
SempreMilan
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to play from start in AC Milan’s game against Juventus tomorrow evening. The Swede never backs down from a big clash and will be looking to leave his mark on the game.
Ibrahimovic has been in good form lately, getting on the scoresheet against Venezia, and that puts him at eight goals for the season. However, it has been a while since he scored at San Siro. In fact, we have to go back to September 12 for that.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the 40-year-old left nothing to chance during training this week. It was a so-called ‘scary’ week with lots of intensity in his workout, seeing as he’s eager to score and help Milan bounce back.
The pressure is certainly on him to perform tomorrow evening but, as we know, he thrives in these situations. The newspaper concludes by saying that his future and a renewal isn’t on the table right now, but there won’t be any issues if the Swede wants to stay.
