Tuttosport: Milan readying new offer to Leao as optimism filters – the details | OneFootball

With the transfer market close, the AC Milan management are at work to secure the renewals of some key players, with Rafael Leao the most complicated one.

According to reports from Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning, there has been a different and more positive feeling filtering from Casa Milan over the past few days regarding the future of Leao, as the statements from Paolo Maldini seemed to suggest.

The Rossoneri are in fact ready to put an offer worth €6m net per season plus bonuses on the table to try and get the Portuguese forward to put pen on paper and extend his deadline beyond June 2024.

However, Leao through his entourage is asking for €7m per year in order to extend his stay, but the important news is that the parties seem to be moving closer together in terms of bridging the distance, with important developments expected in the coming weeks.
