AC Milan will find it harder to sign Jakub Kiwior from Spezia if Barcelona listen to the advice of Robert Lewandowski, a report claims.

Rumours about Kiwior exploded last week when a report from Goal.pl stated that multiple sources had suggested the 22-year-old centre-back is very close to transferring to Milan from Spezia, with someone close to the player adding that ‘everything is done’.

According to what Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reported this morning, Lewandowski has now recommended his international team-mate Kiwior to the management of Barcelona after he was very complimentary of him in the media over the international break.

The paper claims that the player is also closely followed by Milan, and in the summer operation the management secured an ‘option’ on the player as part of the deal that saw Mattia Caldara and then Daniel Maldini move to Liguria on loan. Spezia value him at €16m currently.
