Serie A giants Juventus sealed their 15th Coppa Italia title in history yesterday as they beat Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico, but the end of the game saw Max Allegri get involved in skirmishes with referees and journalists.

While La Repubblica reported that Allegri nearly came to blows with a journalist, it seems as if the journalist in question is Tuttosport director Guido Vaciago, who has now opened up about the incident about how what had happened outside the press room yesterday.

Vaciago has written about the incident in his column for Tuttosport today. He reveals that when Allegri was about to conclude the media interviews at the end of the game, he confronted Vaciago and told him:

“Sh*t director! Yes, you sh*tty director. Write the truth in your newspaper, not what club tells you!”

While Allegri, as per the account, was asked to stay calm, he didn’t stop and he further stated by pulling and pushing Vaciago:

“Look, I know where to come and get you . I know where to wait for you. I’ll come and rip off both your ears. I’ll come and hit you in the face. Write the truth in the newspaper.”

The account stated that the Bianconeri press officer then dragged Allegri back and with a Serie A representative, made sure that he entered the press room for the press conference.

The article goes onto state: “We at Tuttosport have always written the truth and will always write it , together with our opinions, which we may or may not be liked, but remain so and we express them politely, without pushing and remaining open to dialogue with anyone who wants to contradict them. With politeness and without pushing, obviously.”
