Tammy Abraham’s performances this season have not convinced AC Milan, and this means his future is yet to be decided, though it does not look positive.
Signing a striker is a difficult thing to do, the best ones cost a lot of money, whilst taking a risk on someone can leave you hanging in the balance. Analysing Abraham’s contribution to Milan then is slightly challenging.
For the most part, he has failed to offer a lot of what made him great in the past, however, glimpses of that player have been seen in big moments – the Supercoppa Italiana final, for example.
As a result, this leaves Milan in a difficult position about the future, especially with other clubs waiting for an opportunity to take the chance themselves. However, a decision remains in the Rossoneri’s court, at least for now.
Though, as Tuttosport (via Milan News) writes, it seems that a permanent move is unlikely right now. According to the report, there are two reasons why the club are not sold yet, and both are economically weighted.
Primarily, the club do not want to pay more than €20 million for the former Chelsea striker, then, there is the case of his excessive wages – more than €5m per season currently.
