Troy Deeney has been sacked as Forest Green Rovers Head Coach after just six games in charge of the League Two club.
The former Watford captain was appointed as player-manager on December 20th after the departure of David Horseman.
Deeney failed to win any of his games in charge of the club, while earlier on Thursday, he received a four-game touchline ban and a £1,500 fine after being sent off against Swindon Town last month.
It is currently unclear if the 35-year-old will stay on as a player but he leaves his current role with Forest Green rooted to the bottom of League Two.
