Paris Saint-Germain head coach Mauricio Pochettino said that his side will not be treating Sunday night's Trophée des Champions clash against Ligue 1 Uber eats champions LOSC as revenge.

LOSC pipped Pochettino's men to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats title in May and the Argentine admitted that failure to land the title left his team with a "bitter taste".

"It's not revenge against LOSC, it's more against ourselves," said a focussed Pochettino ahead of Sunday's showdown in Tel-Aviv. "To have lost the title against them and to not have got past the semi-finals of the Champions League leaves us with a bitter taste. We're going to do everything we can to change that."

Big guns missing

PSG will be without some of their big names with many players yet to return after international duty this summer. But Pochettino remained tight-lipped on whether the recently returned quartet of Kylian Mbappé, Danilo Pereira, Presnel Kimpembe and Gini Wijnaldum would make the trip to Israel.

"Everyone knows we do not have a full complement of players but that cannot be an excuse," said the coach who recently signed a two-year contract extension. "We will see if the four can make the trip or if some remain. These are individual cases and we must take into account the development of each one."
