Triple update as Aston Villa confirm Bertrand Traoré return & two exits

Aston Villa have announced that they have recalled Bertrand Traoré from his loan spell at Istanbul Başakşehir.

The winger made 18 appearances and scored three goals, during his time with the Turkish side and was originally due to spend the full season at the club, but now needs to return to the UK to undergo medical treatment on an injury.

Meanwhile, Villa have also announced two departures.

Defensive midfielder Marvelous Nakamba has joined promotion chasing Luton Town in the Championship, on loan until the end of the season.

Nakamba joined Aston Villa from Club Brugge in 2019, and has made 58 Premier League appearances for the club.

Aaron Ramsey has also left the Midlands outfit to join Michael Carrick’s Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old midfielder spent the first half of the season on loan at Norwich City, where he made 18 Championship appearances.
