Former Nottingham Forest and Birmingham winger Trevor Francis has died aged 69.
In a playing career that spanned 24 years, Francis played for 10 clubs and enjoyed fruitful spells in Italy and the USA.
The 52-time England international won back-to-back European Cups with Forest and scored the winning goal in the 1979 final against MalmĂś.
Francis is arguably most famous though, for becoming British footballâs first million pound footballer when Forest paid Birmingham a landmark fee in 1979.
After his playing days, Francis went into management and took Sheffield Wednesday to the FA Cup and League Cup finals in 1992/93.
