At just 25 years old, Alexander-Arnold is a phenomenon of world football, having won everything possible in a Liverpool shirt and becoming an iconic talent at right-back.

The Scouser is known for his outrageous passing ability with both feet and his influence on the team is unmatched.

While lacking the talismanic leadership qualities of Steven Gerrard, his level of prestige is right up there with the best to have worn the red shirt.

Gerrard spent his entire career on Merseyside, playing 710 games, scoring 186 goals and making 155 assists, however with Trent's assist against Bournemouth yesterday, he became the youngest Liverpool player since Gerrard to reach 100 goal involvements.

Liverpool's creative force from right-back

Having already taken the record for most assists from a full-back in Premier League history - level with his teammate Andy Robertson - Alexander-Arnold is quickly working his way up the tally of the club's highest assisters in Premier League history.

Sitting currently in third place on 59, having surpassed Steve McManaman yesterday, he is now just 33 away from breaking Gerrard's record which would make him one of the greatest creators of the Premier League era - doing it all from a defensive position on the pitch.

There remains a possibility that this may be Trent's last season at the club as contract negotiations are currently stalled, but following in the footsteps of his club idol Steven Gerrard must be a tempting thought.

Nonetheless, the influence Trent has had throughout his stay with the Reds has been unlike any other and fans will struggle to forget just how extraordinary a talent Liverpool's academy was able to produce.
