Liverpool have confirmed that defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal, keeping him at Anfield until 2025.
The right-back was a product of the club’s academy, and made his debut in a League Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur in 2016.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Alexander-Arnold said: “To extend and make sure I’m here longer is always a good thing. I’m made up.
“It’s the only club I’ve ever really known, so to be here for this amount of time and extending to be here for a longer amount of time is amazing for me and my family.
“It’s a proud moment for me – it always is – signing a new contract here.”
Alexander-Arnold has gone on to make over 170 appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals on his way to winning the Premier League and Champions League with his boyhood club.
