Trent Alexander-Arnold has become the defender with the most assists in Premier League history.

The Liverpool defender was at his play-making best on Saturday as his cross was headed in by Diogo Jota for the Reds opener against Burnley.

And it took the 25-year-old’s assist tally to a remarkable 58 – the most ever for a defender in the top flight.
