Cameroon striker Karl Toko Ekambi has made the switch from Olympique Lyonnais to Stade Rennais FC, signing on loan until the end of the 2022-23 season. Meanwhile, OGC Nice have signed Burundi defender Youssuf Ndayishimiye from Turkish club Basaksehir.

In the wake of injuries to Martin Terrier and Arnaud Kalimuendo, Stade Rennais are strengthening their front line. On Thursday, Les Rouge et Noir registered the arrival of Karl Toko Ekambi , 30, for the next six months.

The Cameroon international is on loan without an option to buy from Olympique Lyonnais, who stated in a press release that "Stade Rennais FC will pay Karl Toko Ekambi's salary until the end of the loan".
