Free agent after leaving Vojvodina, Jonathan Bolingi has just found a new club. The Kinshasa native is heading to FC Chonburi, a club recently promoted to Thailand’s top flight.
This marks the Congolese striker’s second stint in Thailand, following his time at Buriram United (2021-2023), where he tallied an impressive 26 goals and 9 assists in 53 matches across all competitions.
“Jonathan Bolingi has arrived in Thailand, passed his medical, and completed all the necessary steps with the club before signing his contract and being presented to the coach,” the club announced in an official statement.
The former TP Mazembe striker has signed a one-year deal. He’ll be looking to help his new team retain their top-flight status and avoid the drop.
