The latest transfer rumours and news from the Premier League and beyond as the summer window kicks into gear.

Almost a done deal

It’s been one of the most drawn out transfer sagas in recent memory, but Kylian Mbappe has finally put pen to paper with Real Madrid – and some juicy details about the move have been revealed.

The French striker, who has decided to leave Paris St. Germain when his contract expires this month, will sign a five-year contract with Los Blancos and receive a gigantic €150m (£127m) signing-on fee in instalments, according to Ben Jacobs.

That is an insane amount of money for one player to receive, but it looks like PSG will get a cut of that. Mbappe and the club are “still finalising final exit terms”. Which is extraordinary given he can just walk out the door for nothing on July 1, when the La Liga transfer window opens. The player’s arrival at the Bernabeu is due to be officially announced this week.

Newcastle United look set to miss out on Tosin Adarabioyo to Chelsea, but the Magpies have already made moves to sign an alternative. Lloyd Kelly has received an approach from Eddie Howe and talks will continue this week, according to The Telegraph. There is supposedly confidence that a deal can be thrashed out by the end of the week.

West Ham have ‘moved closer’ to signing Brazilian teenager Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras, according to The Times. The 18-year-old right winger will sign for the Hammers in a deal worth £25.5m, which includes a 20 percent sell-on clause.

Daichi Kamada will undergo a medical this week ahead of signing for Crystal Palace, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Japanese attacking midfielder, whose contract with Lazio expires at the end of this month, reached a verbal agreement with the Premier League club last week.

Romano also claims that Antonio Conte will sign a contract to become the next Napoli manager on Wednesday. The Italian has been out of work since leaving Spurs last year.

Talking stage

Bayern Munich have made an approach about signing Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United, reports O Jogo. The Bundesliga side have spoken to the midfielder’s agent, Miguel Pinho, about the possibility of a move.

Romano has provided more details on the matter, claiming that a few key factors will inform Fernandes’ decision to stay or go. The 29-year-old wants to see what the club’s new project under co-owner Jim Ratcliffe entails, who the manager will be next season, and what they will ‘present’ to him in a new meeting.

LA Galaxy are in ‘advanced talks’ with Marco Reus, according to The Athletic. The German attacker is a free agent after playing his final match for Borussia Dortmund in the Uefa Champions League final on Saturday.

Speculation station

Cristiano Ronaldo is trying to recruit two of his former teammates on behalf of Al-Nassr. The Portugal forward has apparently spoken to Real Madrid’s Nacho Fernández and Manchester United midfielder Casemiro about joining him in Saudi Arabia, according to MARCA.

Victor Osimhen is waiting on an offer from Arsenal or Saudi Arabia, claims Gazzetta dello Sport. The Napoli striker has been linked with a move to the Premier League over the past two seasons.

Jadon Sancho is willing to return to Manchester United ahead of next season, but only if Erik ten Hag is no longer the manager at Old Trafford, according to the Mirror. The England winger’s loan spell with Dortmund has come to an end.

Fulham want to make an early move in the window for Arsenal attacker Emile Smith Rowe, according to The Telegraph.

The aforementioned report from The Times says that West Ham are looking to sign up to four players for incoming manager Julen Lopetegui, including two defenders and a wide player. The Hammers have been trying to finalise a deal for Flamengo centre-back Fabricio Bruno, while Wolves defender Max Kilman is also on their list of targets.
