Gareth Bale has been in decent form for Real Madrid this season. The 30-year-old has won several trophies with the La Liga giants but has never really had a great relationship with the supporters.
Calciomercato adds that the Welsh attacker has been unhappy with the appointment of Zinedine Zidane, and the French manager is in his second stint at the club.
Bale has scored two goals and has a couple of assists for Real this season, however, the 30-year-old will leave the club in January (h/t Calciomercato).
The report adds that Bale has the option to return to England with Tottenham as a destination, while Manchester United are also linked with the player. The Welsh attacker was close to moving to China in the summer and could still see that happen in January (h/t Calciomercato).
Tottenham need to sign players and it will be interesting to see our plan of action in January. Bale could be a decent option for us, but his wages are on the higher side and he is ageing.
The Wales international can play in several positions and could bolster our attack. However, Spurs could do with someone who provides longevity to the team.
Our recent signings have been players with potential and hopefully, we get the right stars soon.
We need to turn things around quickly and have to beat Watford after the international break.
