Transfer News: PSG’s Luis Campos to Meet With Agent of Chelsea, Manchester United Target | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain will be in the market for a striker and one of the names linked to the French giants is Napoli goal scorer Victor Osimhen.

The 24-year-old scored 25 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A side. Foot Mercato (h/t Paris Fans) reported on Tuesday, citing sources, that sporting advisor Luis Campos has planned to meet the player’s agents during this international break.

Campos knows Osimhen’s agent and the player well during his time at Lille OSC, so there’s a relationship already established. However, there are issues preventing a possible transfer.

Napoli likely wants a gigantic fee of €150 million, which for PSG, who has Financial Fair Play monitoring its every move, might be too much for them to pay since they have other needs in the squad.

Furthermore, clubs such as Manchester United and Chelsea are in the mix for the Nigeria international that can pay the fee.

For his part, Osimhen will not make any choice before the end of the season. However, he does not rule out the possibility of staying in Italy, considering the 2022-23 season Napoli is having.

But in the event of departure, he also knows that a transfer to PSG would complicate a future in the Premier League in the short term, a league he dreams of playing in during his career.
