According to Mirror (h/t Stretty News), Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is considering the option to let Donny van de Beek leave the club in January amidst links to Everton.
The 24-year-old is understood to be unhappy at the Old Trafford outfit over a lack of game-time. The midfielder is yet to make a Premier League start for the club this season, with his last league appearance for the club coming on the 11th of September against Newcastle United as he came off the bench for a five-minute cameo.
Although the Dutch international was handed a start in the UEFA Champions League clash against BSC Young Boys, he was brought off at half-time after his side went down to 10 men.

He eventually did get his full 90 minutes against West Ham in the EFL Cup but United lost that game and were knocked out of that competition.
Thus, game-time is not guaranteed for the midfielder this season, especially after the likes of Fred, Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, and Bruno Fernandes have hogged a lot of minutes.
Van de Beek is said to be open to leaving the club in January, and there is also said to be a suitor in the market. Everton’s director of football Marcel Brands is open to bringing the 24-year-old in January.

In fact, Solskjaer is now also considering letting the player leave on a loan move as it is believed that he could enjoy a similar resurgence to form as Jesse Lingard managed with West Ham United last season.
Thus, if the deal is sanctioned, the Dutchman could get so much-needed minutes under his belt, and it would be a bonus as he would gain some Premier League experience as well.
