The summer transfer market is gently ramping up with the major clubs all preparing big-money moves for some major players. Chief among which are Arsenal, who are increasingly linked with Joshua Zirkzee as a key option, along with Benjamin Sesko and Marcus Rashford. Bruno Guimaraes is their top midfield target, but Amadou Onana could return to their wishlist, with Everton willing to sell.

Over at Chelsea, appointing new manager Enzo Maresca is their top priority but the transfer window has not escaped their attention. Real Madrid’s move for Alphonso Davies is reportedly being hijacked by the Blues, who along with Manchester United are paying close attention to Michael Olise.

United have several areas to focus on and have now missed out on Juventus defender Gleison Bremer, but continue to target Jarrad Branthwaite and are also considering Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah. Another hot property, Kylian Mbappe, has been discussing his future whereas Tottenham and Liverpool are both in the market for a new attacker. Everton midfielder Amadou Onana admits playing for a “top club” is something he strives for.

The 22-year-old has been included in Belgium’s squad for Euro 2024 and has hinted he hopes good performances in Germany will help attract potential suitors.

Romero: I'm not thinking of leaving Tottenham

Cristian Romero believes Tottenham have progressed Ange Postecoglou and has revealed he is not thinking about leaving the club.

The Argentine international was one of Postecoglou’s key players during a promising but inconsistent maiden campaign in charge of the club.

Postecoglou hinted Romero could be example to some of his teammates too and said after the defeat at Liverpool earlier this month: “He's a World Cup winner and I've just got to get some of what's in him into some of the others.”

The 28-year-old sat out of the post-season friendly against Newcastle in Melbourne for “personal reasons” but will be a key player for Argentina at this summer’s Copa America, which begins in the United States on June 20.

Romero still has three years to run on his contract in north London and told DSports’ Cómo Te Va: “The truth is that I’m fine. For now I’m not thinking about that [a transfer], I’m thinking about preparing myself these days to get to the national team in the best way possible, which is the next step I have.”
