As Chelsea press ahead with their latest transfer drive, Arsenal look set to make their first big move of the summer. The Gunners are said to have agreed a deal worth more than £75million to sign Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres, with reports in Portugal claiming the Gunners are "very close" to securing a move for the Sporting frontman. Nico Williams, currently starring for Spain at Euro 2024, is also an target for Arsenal after Benjamin Sesko decided to stay at RB Leipzig.
Chelsea have missed out on signing key target Michael Olise again, with Bayern Munich agreeing a deal for his services instead. The Blues wasted no time looking elsewhere and have agreed a £19million deal for Aston Villa youngster Omari Kellyman and announced the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Estevao Willian, who joins next summer. Chelsea have also opened talks over a deal for Lille striker Jonathan David amid ongoing interest in both Jhon Duran and Samu Omorodion.
Tottenham remain in the hunt for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, with Ivan Toney, David and Riccardo Calafiori also among their targets. It is no secret Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha wants to join Bayern Munich this summer.
Palhinha was close to joining Bayern for £58m last summer but the move fell through because Fulham failed to sign a replacement.
Bayern have revived their interest and Palhinha has agreed terms on a five-year deal to join the Bundesliga giants.
Palhinha is currently on Portugal duty at Euro 2024 and has said he would like to talk about his future, but he has been banned from doing so.
“They won't let me speak,” he said. “I would like to say something.”
