Dorgu wants Man Utd move as Lecce demand £33m

More details have now emerged on Manchester United’s pursuit of Patrick Dorgu.

The Red Devils were strongly linked with Lecce’s highly-rated left-back over the weekend and reports this morning claim that they are in talks with the Serie A strugglers over a deal.

Fabrizio Romano now says that United are indeed set to open formal discussions over Dorgu, but have not made a bid just yet.

Lecce are said to be demanding €40m (£33.8m) for the 20-year-old, who wants the move to Old Trafford.

Dorgu is an alternative to Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez and Nuno Mendes at PSG, both of whom are said to be considered too expensive.

Antony set to leave Man Utd for Real Betis loan

Antony’s exit from Manchester United draws very close.

Fabrizio Romano has now given Antony to Betis his patented “here we go” treatment, insisting a verbal agreement has been reached between all parties for the winger to head to LaLiga on loan for the remainder of the season.

The deal does not contain any option to buy, so Antony will be back at United in the summer.

The 24-year-old is now due to travel for a medical.
