According to Fichajes (h/t Football London), Chelsea could bring in Ajax Amsterdam winger Antony as a replacement if Hakim Ziyech were to leave the club in the summer transfer window.
The Moroccan joined Chelsea from Ajax in 2020 and has enjoyed mixed success in Blue. The experienced winger struggled with injuries in his first season but has slowly settled into Thomas Tuchel’s team, showcasing his abilities at Stamford Bridge.
The 29-year-old has scored eight goals and five assists in 32 games across all competitions this season including a stunning goal against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

The Moroccan has a contract with the Blues until 2025 and with the way he is playing, Tuchel and the Blues have more reasons to keep him than part ways. However, Ziyech continues to be linked with a move away from the club now and then. In such a scenario, Chelsea could turn to Ajax yet again for Brazilian star Antony.
Antony could bring a dash of youthful energy and vigour to this squad. The 21-year-old has already made a name for himself by scoring 22 goals and providing 20 assists in 79 matches in the Erdeviese for Ajax.
The player has developed greatly under the guidance of Dutch boss Erik ten Hag. He is highly sought after by many clubs in the world and Chelsea are no different.
Ziyech is a player who can offer a lot to the team despite the immense competition in the forward area. As we have seen in the past few months, he is capable of producing the unthinkable on a regular basis.
The story of Ziyech at Chelsea is just starting. It has the potential to end even before it has hit full stride. In such a scenario, Antony comes into the picture.
Antony could be an option for the Blues
The Blues have spent huge amounts of money trying to create a roster of stellar attackers at Stamford Bridge. If they are to prise Antony away from Ajax, they will have to break the bank for the Brazilian again.
Antony could prove to be a great acquisition and has performed pretty well with the Dutch club in the UEFA Champions League showcasing the fact that he can produce some memorable moments on the big stage. The Brazilian could add more depth to the squad and also help boost competition amongst some of the more senior players in the team.
It remains to be seen whether Ziyech leaves and if Chelsea actually makes a move for Antony. However, right now, it is a story to keep the lookout for in the summer.
