This transfer is a real windfall for ESTAC Troyes, his formative club.

According to information from l’Est Eclair, the ESTAC management had negotiated a 10% sell-on clause on the capital gain when he left for Brentford. At that time, the forward was sold for €6.6 million following Brentford's promotion to the Premier League. In total, ESTAC is set to receive €7.4 million, to which an additional €2 million in training compensation will be added for the Troyes club's board.
