Transfer-linked Barcelona star ‘could stay’ for next season | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona heavily linked with a transfer this summer could yet stay put with the club for next season.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who highlight Pau Víctor as the player in question.

Frontman Víctor has seen the long-term speculation surrounding his future in Catalunya’s capital reach new levels across the week to date.

This comes with the arrival of Marcus Rashford having pushed the former Girona man ever closer towards the Barcelona exit door.

Amid widespread interest in his services from across the Spanish football landscape, the assumption, in turn, was that Víctor would indeed be on the move before the summer is out.

As alluded to above, however, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then as much is not yet set in stone.

As per a report from MD:

‘It’s not ruled out that he could even stay’ for the 2025/26 campaign.

*Update* – Víctor is now understood to be closing on a move to Portugal with SC Braga.
