Happy Saturday, everyone.
The Womenâs World Cup, the Copa AmĂ©rica, the under-21 European Championships.
Forget all that nonsense, because the real showâs in town: guessing whoâs going to move where by August 31.
Letâs take a look at some of the juiciest gossip from the papers this morning, shall we?
Real Madrid are in the midst of a record-breaking summer but according to reports in Spain, their business has only just started. Marca say that Paul Pogba has told Manchester United he wants to leave Old Trafford and is set on joining Zinedine Zidaneâs side.
Unitedâs World Cup winner may be heading for the exit door but it looks there will be plenty of shiny new incomers in his place by the end of the window. Several stories, including in both the Mail and the Mirror, say that Ole Gunnar Solskjaerâs side have won the race to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace, and are now favourites to land Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis as well.
Hakim Ziyech was one of the stars of this seasonâs Champions League with Ajax but stories emanating from the Netherlands claim that the Morocco international could well be leaving this summer. De Telegraaf say that the Amsterdam club will sell the attacker â but only for somewhere in the region of âŹ50m. Arsenal and Liverpool are both thought to be interested.
You know Mohamed Salah? Liverpoolâs best player for the past two seasons and a key part of their rise to the top of European football? Yeah, that Mohamed Salah. Well according to Le10Sport in France, JĂŒrgen Klopp is apparently willing to sell the Egyptian during the window, as long as Nicolas PĂ©pĂ© comes in in his place. Hmmmmmmm.
Admittedly it hasnât been the best of seasons for Mesut Ăzil. Accusations of tardiness and an apparent fall-out with Unai Emery have seen the Germany playmaker benched more often than he would like. But weâre still not having this story in the Mirror. They say that the Gunners would be willing to sell the 30-year-old on the cheap so as to get his mammoth wages off their books. Weâll believe it when we see it.
West Ham moved early to sign one of LaLigaâs most potent attackers on Friday as they confirmed the arrival of Pablo Fornals from Villarreal.
