Welcome to Monday, where a new week brings fresh transfer news and rumours from across the world. This is the latest.
Harry Kane is open to penning a contract extension at Tottenham according to The Athletic, with discussions due to take place after the transfer window closes. But if an agreement cannot be reached, the club will have to decide whether to cash in this summer or let him go into the final year of his deal.
Portuguese outlet Recordâs front page splash today suggests that after failing in an attempt to sign him earlier in the window, Chelsea are now back in to sign Benficaâs Enzo FernĂĄndez.
The same outlet also reports that while Newcastle are keen on Scott McTominay and have held discussions to that end, Manchester United are unwilling to consider any departure until the summer.
But one man who seems increasingly likely to leave this month is Chelseaâs Hakim Ziyech, who the club are welcoming bids for in the final week of the transfer window.
Nottingham Forest have been linked with a move for PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas, but Bournemouth and Leicester are also keen.
Sport are linking Barcelona with a shock move for a Real Madrid player, with the newspaper suggesting that talks have taken place with agent Jorge Mendes about Marco Asensioâs availability this summer.
Relevo claim that Real Madrid are soon set to offer Luka ModriÄ and Toni Kroos one-year deals to keep them at the club, although it is a different situation for Nacho and Dani Ceballos, who are yet to receive offers but who are both seeking more playing time.
PSG are âdestined to signâ Inter defender Milan Ĺ kriniar whether it be this month or the summer, according to Corriere della Sera, who believe that if he does leave in January it will be for a fee of no more than âŹ20m.
Roma boss JosĂŠ Mourinho has admitted that the club may keep Nicolò Zaniolo beyond the January transfer window despite all indications to the contrary as the current offers received for him are âunworthy of both the player and the clubâ.
Teenage Real Valladolid right-back Ivan Fresneda is a man in demand but he has now narrowed his options down to two, with The Athletic claiming that he is set to choose between Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund this week.
The agent of Leandro Trossard has accused Tottenham of dragging their heels in their attempts to sign his client â which ultimately sent him across north London instead.
âSpurs were in contact with us for the last two weeks,â he told the Mirror. âBut it was âyes we want him but wait for this and wait for thatâ. We got in touch with Arsenal on Wednesday and 24 hours later we had an agreement.â
Union Berlin completed the signing of Croatia international Josip JuranoviÄ from Celtic.
And Craig Dawson moved to Molineux, joining Wolves from West Ham on a two-and-a-half year deal.
